Universal flows

Follow

These flows work the same on both Incoming and Outgoing Referrals.

1. Create new Opportunity from a Referral

Since v.1.5, it is now possible to create an Outgoing Referral without a related Opportunity when it is created from the Referral list view. For such Referrals, you will also have the option to create Opportunities from them, and the flow is 100% identical to this one.

2. Link Referral to Opportunity

Since v.1.5, it is now possible to create an Outgoing Referral without a related Opportunity when it is created from the Referral list view. For such Referrals, you will also have the option to link them to an existing Opportunity, and the flow is 100% identical to this one.

3. Automatic WS-SF integration retry

Once the integration with WorkSpan is established — the integration status is shown within the Integration Status component:

In case Last Sync from Salesforce to WorkSpan is neither ‘Success’ nor ‘Sending’, it might mean that there is a connection error on the WorkSpan application side. In that case, the Referral update process will be restored automatically once the error is fixed on the WorkSpan application side.

4. Set Closed Lost Reason

This flow automatically populates Referral Closed Lost Reason from a source field based on configured Value Mapping.

  • Referral Closed Lost Reason is not overwritten if it already has a value.
  • Referral Closed Lost Reason can still be manually selected/changed

This flow is triggered when an Opportunity that is related to the Referral is marked as Closed Lost

  • When an Opportunity is created from a referral and the opportunity is marked as Closed Lost and  Referral Closed Lost Reason is empty.
  • When the Opportunity is updated, and it is in Close Lost state and Referral Closed Lost Reason is empty
  • When the Referral is auto-created from Opportunity, the opportunity is in Closed Lost state, and the referral closed reason is empty.
