1. Overview
Improve your data analysis by manually reordering the metrics within WorkSpan This allows you to arrange the fields in metrics in the exact order you need them - for example, total costs, revenue, and then created by.
Reordering the metrics can provide several benefits, depending on the specific context and requirements. Here are some of the potential benefits:
2. Reordering Standard Metrics
To move a field within the metrics on the object page to a new position, follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on the hamburger menu and choose the Sales Plan.
Step 2: Choose the respective Sales Plan, navigate to “Opportunities”, click the Settings icon, and choose “Reorder Metrics”.
Step 3: Now, you will see a pop-up window with all the standard metrics. You can simply drag the “::” icon to change the field to a new position.
Step 4: After arranging all the fields, click “Save”. Now, you can view the reordered metrics on the Opportunities tab of the Sales Plan.
- The Standard Metrics tab allows you to reorder Standard Metrics, just like the Non-Standard Metrics tab allows you to reorder Non-Standard Metrics.
- It is important to remember that these metrics can only be displayed in this order, i.e. Standard Metrics, Non-Standard Metrics, and Hidden Metrics.
3. Reordering Non-Standard Metrics
By default, all users can reorder the non-standard metrics. To reorder them follow the steps below,
Step 1: Follow Steps 1 and 2, similar to “Reordering Standard Metrics”.
Step 2: You will see a pop-up in which you can select “Non-Standard Metric”.
Step 3: You can simply drag the “::” icon to change the position of the fields.
Step 4: After arranging all the fields, click “Save”.
Step 5: Now, you can view the reordered non-standard metrics on the Opportunities tab of the Sales Plan.
4. Reordering Hidden Metrics
In some scenarios, you may want to hide a metric or put the metrics in a different order. As a template owner, you can make these changes, moving, hiding and deciding the metrics your users see and their order to optimize the template for your audience. Follow the steps below to reorder the hidden metrics.
Step 1: Follow Steps 1 and 2, similar to “Reordering Standard Metrics”.
Step 2: You will see a pop-up in which you can select “Hidden Metric”.
Step 3: You can simply drag the “::” icon to change the position of the fields and click “Save”.
Step 4: You can view the Hidden Metrics by clicking the settings icon and selecting “View Hidden Metrics”.
Step 5: The Hidden Metrics will appear on the Opportunities tab of the Sales Plan.
Step 6: You can hide them back by clicking Hide Hidden Metrics present in the settings icon.
