1. Overview

We're excited to announce a new capability in our product that allows you to pin charts to your Program Overview page from the reports! This new feature makes it even easier to access the charts you need without the need to navigate through the reports every time you want to view them.

lightbulb (1).pngProgram Owners can now pin charts for all members of the program who have access to the respective charts, making it easier to share important insights and metrics with the team.

2. Pinning a Chart on the Program Overview page

Pin charts to the Program Overview page from your report easily by following the below steps. 

If you don't have any reports created, refer to this document for report creation.

There are two ways:

     1. Pin from the Create/Edit Report section. 

Step 1: You can pin the chart from “Create Report”. Check the box “Pin this chart to a Program” and click “Save Chart”.

Step 2: You will get a success message for creating/updating the chart successfully. Click“Next”.

Step 3: You will see the report details with opportunities listed at the bottom. Click Save”.

Step 4: The report will now appear on the Reports Homepage. 

     2. Three-dot menu of a Chart

Step 1:  Select the desired report by clicking the hamburger menu and selecting “Reports”.

Step 2:  You will be redirected to the report detailed page. Here, you can click on the three-dot menu and choose Pin to Program Overview.

lightbulb (1).png The feature "Pin to Program Overview" becomes active only when a single value is specified in the Program filter and the user holds the role of Program Owner. Conversely, this feature becomes inactive when multiple values are specified in the filter, no value is specified in the Program filter, or the user does not have the Program Owner role.
The image below illustrates the choice of a single filter within the "Edit Report" section.

Step 3:  The success message will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Choose Programs from the hamburger menu and select the respective program. The pinned charts can be easily accessed from the “Analytics” panel on the Program Overview page.

Step 5: When there are more than four (4) charts on the Program Overview page, you can view all of them by clicking the “Load More Charts” button present in the Analytics section.

lightbulb (1).png Click on “Refresh all charts” to reload the charts on the Program Overview page.

Step 6: Clicking a chart will display a magnified version along with options to download the chart, refresh it, or view the report.

3. Unpinning a Chart

lightbulb (1).png Only Program Owners have access to unpin a chart from a Program Overview page.

Charts can be unpinned in two ways: 

     1. From the Report

Repeat steps 1 as mentioned in 2. Pinning a chart.

Step 2: On a chart, click on the three-dot icon and choose “Unpin from Program Overview.”

    2. From the Program Overview page

Click on the “Analytics” card and hover on the desired chart. You will view the unpinning icon. Click on it to unpin the chart.

4. Rearranging a Chart

WorkSpan gives you the flexibility to arrange your charts as per your preference.

lightbulb (1).png Only Program owners have access to rearrange charts on the Program Overview page.

Step 1: Click on “Rearrange Charts”.

Step 2: A popup screen will appear containing different charts. You need to click and drag the charts to the desired position as you want them to appear on the Program Overview page. For instance, the Opportunity Chart” is moved to position 3 in the graphics below:

Step 3: Click on the "Save Chart" button when the charts are rearranged and view them on the Analytics panel.
