1. New Features and Enhancements

1.1. WorkSpan Ecosystem Edition

1. Simplifying Data Import with Sample File Assistance

WorkSpan has simplified the bulk upload of data by providing sample files in .xlsx, .json, or .csv formats. Users can download the sample file, fill in the required information, and upload it back to the platform. No need to remember file formats; simply click “Download sample file,” fill it in, and select “Proceed to Upload.”

Key Benefits:
--> Reduces the likelihood of data entry errors, ensuring accuracy in uploaded data.
--> Saves time by allowing users to upload all data at once rather than entering it manually field by field.
--> Enhanced user experience.

1.2. WorkSpan Hyperscaler Edition

1. Extend Offer Expiration Dates in Bulk

Unlock greater flexibility in offer management with our latest enhancement—bulk extension of offer expiration dates. Sellers now have the flexibility to extend the expiration date of existing private offers, providing buyers with more time. Sellers can conveniently modify expiration dates for multiple offers. Additionally, there's the benefit of saving both time and effort.

Note: If a private offer with a Custom Payment Schedule is in the past, then you cannot modify the expiration date. Please clone the offer, adjust the custom schedule payment, and publish a new offer.

Below is an example of extending bulk offers by selecting the Modify Expiration Date option from the homepage and from the table view.

Key Benefits:
--> Modify offer expiration dates to meet the needs of buyers.
--> Allow buyers more time to consider and accept offers.
--> More successful transactions and revenue growth.

2. Flexible Contract Terms for Sellers with Custom Service Length

A new enhancement to the "Custom Service Length" in SaaS Contract and SaaS Contract + Usage offers has been added. Now, when you enter the number of months for your custom service term, the duration is calculated based on a 30-day month. For instance, setting the service term to 13 months will automatically convert to 390 days (13 months x 30 days).

Key Benefits:
--> Standardized contract terms, using a 30-day month to ensure clarity and consistency when calculating service lengths.
--> Reduces errors, aiding in straightforward planning and compliance.

3. Personalized Emails with Buyer Contact Names

Sellers can now add the buyer's contact name when creating a private offer. If the "Automatically Send Email to Customer Once the Offer is Published" option is selected, sellers can automatically email buyers once the offer is published. The emails will begin with “Dear <Contact First Name>” for a personalized touch. This personalized greeting is also used in email reminders. Any CC and BCC recipients also receive these emails. These fields are grouped in a separate email section in the clone form for convenience.

Key Benefits:
--> Personalized emails create a more welcoming experience for the buyer, leading to improved communication and satisfaction.
--> Addressing recipients by name reduces confusion and ensures the message reaches the right person.

1.3. WorkSpan Platform Capabilities

1. Deep Dive into Partnerships with Time-Trend Reports

Effortlessly track the trends of key partnership metrics over time with our enhanced reports featuring dynamic Year-over-Year (YoY), Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ), and Month-over-Month (MoM) charts. This enhancement streamlines analysis, eliminating manual efforts and allowing users to track key partnership metrics (such as Claims Approved on a monthly basis, Activities created QoQ by Partners, Incoming / Outgoing Referrals on an MoM basis, etc. ) over time with ease. Supported chart types include line, column, stacked column, and table, ensuring comprehensive reporting capabilities.

Key Benefits:
--> Eliminates manual efforts.
--> Ensures insightful yearly, quarterly, and monthly aggregates, streamlining your analysis by converting date-based dimensions.
--> Ability to choose from a variety of chart types.

2. Improved Performance of Landing Page Metrics

We have made improvements in the performance of loading times of default and pinned metrics defined on the landing page. You can now refresh the table view metrics and view timestamps indicating when the metrics were last refreshed. You can view both the table view and pinned metrics without experiencing any delay in loading. The image below depicts the refresh button and the timestamp for a pinned metric.

Key Benefits:
--> Optimized page load times.
--> Ensures timely updates while maintaining accuracy.
--> Faster access to metrics, enhancing overall efficiency and user experience.

2. Bug Fixes

1. Ticket #16936 Previously, there was inconsistency in the timezone used across various components such as Table View, Reports, and Overview. This issue has been addressed to enforce the timezone defined in the component’s template consistently throughout the application.

2. Ticket #16955 Ticket #17472 In Opportunity-focused reports, data duplication issues have been resolved, ensuring unique entries as intended.

3. Historical data uploads now correctly populate 'Description' values for Referral Information, resolving the issue of missing data in historical records.

4. The issue of the "Add Request" / "Add Activities" buttons appearing despite being disabled has been resolved by configuring the buttons' visibility and aligning with the respective configuration.

5. When a user is suspended, an "Inactive" suffix is now appended to their name on the user management and partner user management pages. This is managed by implementing SQL synchronization upon user lock or restoration, ensuring consistent visibility of user statuses.

6. Resolved the bug that permitted requesting more than the allocated amount when creating activities. If the system fails to retrieve existing allocations, you can retry after some time to prevent such issues.

7. Previously, sellers were required to use future-dated agreements in the Validity Terms for SaaS Contracts and SaaS Contract + Usage, creating rigidity in start dates. This bug has been fixed, allowing sellers to choose whether the agreement starts on the buyer’s acceptance or on a future date. This update provides sellers with more flexibility and reduces potential confusion in setting contract start dates.
