1. WorkSpan Hyperscaler Edition

1.1. New Features and Enhancements

1. First Class Support for Services Co-Sell with Microsoft

Microsoft Services Partners can now easily create service referrals using WorkSpan. Partner Managers can classify Opportunities as "IP CoSell" or "Services CoSell."

--> "IP CoSell" involves software or technology platforms
--> "Services CoSell" focuses on service-based offerings.

To route Services CoSell opportunities to the right Microsoft Sellers, partner managers must provide the Partner Role, Solutions Area, and Solutions Play, while the Microsoft Solutions field is optional. This streamlines the co-selling process per the updated Microsoft Rules of Engagement.

--> Partner Role: The role a partner can play in an opportunity based on endorsements (e.g., Deployment services).
--> Solutions Area: Categories Microsoft solutions (e.g., Business Applications, Security).
--> Solutions Play: Describes the partner's specific role in the co-sell process (e.g., Modernize Service, Data Security, etc.).

Key Benefits:

--> Easily share Services and Co-Sell opportunities with Microsoft.
--> Route Referrals to the relevant sales teams within Microsoft.
--> Align value propositions with Microsoft's sales strategies via Solution Play.

2. Improved Bi-Directional integration for Co-Sell with Google

Partner Business Managers (PBMs) now have the ability to edit the following fields when co-selling with Google:

-->Deal Size: Allows PBMs to specify or adjust the financial value of the deal.
-->Target Close Date: Enables PBMs to set or update the deal's expected closing date.
-->Deal Term: Represented in months, it allows PBMs to define or modify the duration of the deal.

Key Benefits:

-->Enhances Co-selling with Google by enabling PBMs to adjust deal duration for clear contract terms and customer alignment.
-->Empowers PBMs with flexibility in deal size and timely management of closing dates, optimizing customer engagement and sales efficiency with Google.
-->Better planning and timely follow-ups through the ability to update the expected closing date.

3. Increased Compliance for restricting Government deals for Co-Sell with AWS

We have implemented selective filters to pull Amazon-originated (AO) referrals from ACE, which is particularly valuable for government opportunities requiring special authorization and cannot be visible to the commercial side of the business. This enhancement supports AND/OR and IN/NOT IN operators, as well as picklist values in ACE. Users can filter referrals using single or multiple field conditions before they reach the WorkSpan App, ensuring these referrals are not accessible within the app or its integrations.

Key Benefits:

-->Ensures only relevant data is retrieved.
-->Protects sensitive data from exposure to all Business Units (BUs) or WorkSpan.

4. Enhanced Reporting User Interface

We have enhanced the handling of large numbers of charts on reports with new features like segregated views, chart pagination, and improved download options for a faster, more user-friendly experience across all customers. Learn More.

5. Upgraded Visual Clarity with Company Logos

In the WorkSpan Hyperscaler Edition, we have added company logos to metrics and table views for easy differentiation between your company and your partner, enhancing clarity in co-selling scenarios. Learn More.

6. Enhanced Performance: Companies and Users Page

We have improved navigation by defaulting to the “About” section in the Company's menu, speeding up page loading times for both the  Companies and Users menus, ensuring a smoother user experience. Learn More

1.2. Bug Fixes

1. Ticket #17966 Ticket #18021 Granted read access to the new Solution fields (workspan__Is_Default__c and workspan__Partner__c) for specified permission sets to enable co-selling with Microsoft.
2. Users will now see only Microsoft solutions when linking for co-sell with Microsoft, ensuring a refined selection process and eliminating AWS solutions from view.
3. The referral mapping issue for AWS support has been resolved. The names have been updated to "Initial Case" (e.g., from “Type of support needed from AWS” to "Type of Support Needed from AWS"). For Co-Sell, "Partner Specific Needs from AWS" now depends on "Type of Support Needed from AWS." Both are now editable.
4. After initiating referral acceptance from SFDC via the Accept button, the Accept pop-up now correctly displays only MPC-related fields, excluding the previously included AWS ACE v2 fields.

2. WorkSpan Ecosystem Edition

2.1. New Features and Enhancements

1. Effective Pipeline Reviews for Ecosystem Partners with Intuitive Actions

To enhance the post-pipeline review processes in WorkSpan and efficiently capture meeting notes and action items such as setting up a call with the customer, reviewing the pricing, etc., the following updates have been introduced:

Action buttons are added for both Plan Owners & Collaborators:

-->  Update Notes & Action Items: Capture and update notes and action items from your pipeline review call.
--> E-mail Notes & Action Items: Triggers an email to Plan owners and collaborators.
--> Update Internal Notes: Update your company's internal notes, which will not be visible to your partners.

Key Benefits:

-->  Easily update and share notes and action items, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
-->  Automate follow-ups, manage confidential information securely, and save time with intuitive action buttons.

2. Revamped Summary Panel: Enhancing Navigation and Data Visibility Across Partners

We have updated the summary panel for clear visibility across multiple partners and enhanced the user-friendly horizontal scrolling. Previously, the dashboard summary panel did not display field names. Now, it shows information for up to five companies in a tabular format.

Key Benefits:

-->  User-friendly horizontal scrolling for smooth and more intuitive navigation.
--> Displays data for up to 5 companies simultaneously, enabling comprehensive analysis.

3. Reduced Errors and Simplified Referral Updates from SFDC to WS via File Upload.

Updating multiple records simultaneously now becomes effortless. This is particularly helpful for tasks like updating referral information across a large number of records. SFDC outbound integration is now updated with new referral fields - Spotlight Deal, Help Needed By partner, Help Needed from partner, Help Notes, and CRM Account Name. It will allow users to update these new fields in WS from SFDC and via the File Upload mechanism.

Key Benefits:
-->  Uploading data from a file can significantly improve efficiency and speed up the process compared to manual entry, especially for large datasets.
-->  Reduction in errors with this automated process.
-->  Eliminates the tedious task of manual data entry for users.

4. Enhanced Reporting Experience

We have enhanced the handling of large numbers of charts on reports with features like segregated views, chart pagination, and improved download options for a faster, more user-friendly experience across all customers. Learn More.

5. Improved Partner Identification with Company Logos

In the WorkSpan Ecosystem Edition, we've added company logos to metrics and table views for easy differentiation between your company and your partner's, enhancing clarity in co-selling scenarios. Learn More.

6. Enhanced Performance: Companies and Users Page

We have improved navigation by defaulting to the About section in the Companies menu to speed up the page loading times for both the Companies and Users menus. Learn More.

3. WorkSpan Platform

3.1. New Features and Enhancements

1. Usability Improvements on Reports

We have optimized the handling of large numbers of charts on reports, ensuring faster load times and an improved user experience. The enhancements include:

-->  Segregated Views: Table Views and Charts are now separate sections that can be toggled via “Switch to Chart View” on the UI.
-->  Default Landing: Landing in table view ensures quick loading.
-->  Chart Pagination: Limited the number of charts to up to eight (8) per page for easier navigation. There are no limits on the number of pages.
-->  Refresh Charts:  Added option to reload individual charts with the latest data.
-->  Enhanced Filtering and Downloading Options: Search by chart name to filter down specific charts, and the three-dot menu allows you to Download Charts on the Current Page and Download or Print All Charts.
-->  Rearrange Charts: Added chart rearrangement capability for chart owners during creation, with updated icons, layout options, and a drag-and-drop reordering feature.
-->  Updated Report Menu: Enhanced download and print options, disabled until all charts load, and improved search. Downloading charts per page is now possible.

Key Benefits:

-->  With a sticky header on the table view, column headers remain visible, ensuring easy reference while scrolling through records and limiting vertical scrolling for a streamlined experience.
-->  Drag-and-drop reordering in the Charts' name list view and layout changes preview simplifies customization, boosting usability and efficiency.

2. Improved Partner Identification with Company Logos in Metrics and Table Views

To differentiate your own metrics and table views from your partner's, we have added company logos to the metrics and table views owned by each company. A subtle hover effect with the company name can help users decipher the logo's meaning. Table views will display the company logo of the logged-in user. In co-selling, where two companies co-own a plan, duplicate table views and metrics can create confusion since both companies have the same standard metrics & table views, so adding the company logos will make the distinction easier.

Key Benefits:

-->  Immediate clarification about which company the logo represents.
-->  Helps users quickly identify their own metrics and table views.
-->  Reduces confusion between companies' data.

3. Improved Performance for Companies and User's Page

We have enhanced the navigation experience to optimize the page load for the Companies and Users menus:

-->  Landing Page: Clicking on the Companies menu now defaults to landing on the About section, bypassing the previously non-actionable page, which fetched information about all companies on the WS network.
-->  Faster Page Load: Transitioning from the Companies menu to the Users menu now ensures faster page loading. Additionally, optimizations have been implemented for both the My Company page, with or without the User Attributes Toggle and the Partner Company Users page.

Key Benefits:

-->  Prioritizing faster page loads and reduced wait times, users are directed to the About page for quick access to essential company details.
-->  Switching from Companies to Users ensures a smoother user experience.

3.2. Bug Fix

1. Fixed the issue where the "Review the claim details" link in the email was not redirecting to the correct claim details page. It now correctly redirects to the intended page.
