Alerts are triggered for all key dates and date ranges entered in your Programs App, Campaigns App, Solutions App, Sales App and other Apps including opportunities, activities, and assets. For example, you can add key dates for customer meetings or QBRs, and receive alerts via emails and also on the WorkSpan Homepage >Alerts section.

A key date will provide a single alert whereas date ranges will trigger two alerts, one for the start date and one for the end date of the date range.
As an owner or a collaborator on an object, you can enter and update key dates for objects. Participants can only view dates.
Steps:
- Open the object to which you want to add/update key dates.
- Go to the Key Dates section and click the pencil icon to add/edit dates. Add Key Dates screen opens.
- If you want to add a single date, click Add in the Single Date section.
- Select or enter a Date Descriptor.
- Select a Date.
- If you want to add a Date Range, click Add in that section.
- Select or enter a Date Descriptor.
- Select a Start Date.
- Select an End Date.
- Click Save.
