Solution Recommendations in Your Partner Programs

Solution Recommendations can be configured for partner programs to allow opportunity participants linked to a partner program to view matching solutions within the partner program.

The recommendations system matches attributes of the solution with the attributes of the opportunity, and you are presented with the most relevant matching solutions for your opportunity.

You can also request access to and include these matching solutions in your opportunity, to create a compelling offering for your end customers and increase win rates.

For example, if one partner has a software solution for the retail industry and another partner offers a services solution also targeted at the retail industry, then Solution Recommendations suggest these solutions to be sold together.

  • WorkSpan presents recommendations (from within Partner Program Solutions) by matching attributes on the opportunities and the solutions.
  • Complementary Solutions and Complementary Solution Types are determined from the solutions already associated with the opportunity.

  • Partner Managers can select one or more of the recommended solutions and view more details for the solution.
    • As solutions are updated, the list of recommendations are refreshed based on new matches found.
  • Partner Managers can then add one or more of the recommended solutions to the opportunity.
    • Partner Managers can directly add recommended solution(s) if he/she is a member of the solution.
    • If not a member, PBMs can request to join the solution and also send invites to the recommended solution owners to join the opportunity.
  • After the recommended solution request to join is accepted, PBM can add the recommended solution to the opportunity.
