Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC)

Follow

Attribute based access control (ABAC) is an access control mechanism in which access rights are granted via the use of policies comprised of attributes that work together.

ABAC uses user, action and context attributes as the building blocks to define feature-rich access control rules and access requests.

Attribute-based access control is also referred to as policy-based access control (PBAC) or claims-based access control (CBAC).
