Users will easily be able to navigate around linked objects in WorkSpan significantly reducing friction and frustration.
Due to the linked nature of WorkSpan one-objects, there is a high chance that a user in WorkSpan will be confused about how to go back to a previously linked object.
For example, a customer may create an Assessment from a Sales Plan, but have no way of getting back to the Plan after the Assessment is created.
The below use case that shows a high-level view of how the bread crumbs will be created:
Steps:
- Navigate to the WorkSpan navigation center and click on any object. (Eg: Sales Plan)
- Now visit the opportunity associated with the sale plan and the trail gets updated with the opportunity name.
Checkpoint: While visiting the opportunity associated with the sales plan. If the user opens the opportunity in a new tab, a new trail is created. - When the user clicks another top-level Object from the navigation menu a new trail starts.
