Overview
The Google v2 API enhances your partner collaboration capabilities with improved features and performance. This guide provides a step-by-step roadmap to successfully implement the new API, ensuring your onboarding is smooth and efficient. By following these instructions, you'll be able to quickly leverage the advanced functionality of Google's v2 API in your WorkSpan environment.
Pre-Onboarding Requirements
Step 1: Provide Details for Allowlisting
Action Required: Submit your organization's details for Google v2 allowlisting to your WorkSpan Representative.
- Partner Name
- Partner Type (ISV/SI)
- Partner Vector ID (18-digit numeric ID from Partner Advantage)
- Partner ID (10-digit alphanumeric ID from the Partner Hub)
How to locate your Vector ID:
- Log in to the Google Partner Advantage Portal.
- Navigate to the top right corner of the page where your profile icon is displayed.
- Select your profile icon, then choose "My Account" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "My Account" section, scroll down to view your Company Information. You will see fields such as Account, Contracting Address, Legal Address and additional fields
- Look for the field labeled "Account ID". This is your Vector ID – an 18-digit number that typically starts with "0014" (e.g., 0014xxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

Copy the Account ID displayed on the account screen (Refer to the example below)
How to locate your Partner ID:
- Navigate to the new Partner Hub and log in.
- Access the Account tab on the side navigation bar (or use https://partners.cloud.google.com/account).
- Copy your 10-digit alphanumeric "Partner ID" displayed on the account screen (Refer to the example below).
Step 2: Grant WorkSpan Access Permissions
Action Required: Authorize WorkSpan to access the Partner Hub APIs on your behalf
- Log into the new Partner Hub
- Navigate to the Users tab (or use https://partners.cloud.google.com/users)
- Click the "Assign roles" button.
- Enter this Service Account email: google-cosell-client-prod@workspan-app.iam.gserviceaccount.com
- Check the "Integrator" checkbox and click Save (Refer to the example below)
Onboarding Process
Step 1: Salesforce (SFDC) Package Installation
Action Required:
- Install the latest Salesforce package from the Salesforce AppExchange.
- This package is required to access all new API features
Step 2: Verification and Support
Action Required:
After completing the previous steps, verify if the integration flow is working end-to-end. If you encounter any issues, please contact your WorkSpan Representative or WorkSpan Support.
